Top 20 Lessons from Chinkee Tan’s Developing Millionaire’s Mindset
I first came across Chinkee Tan from a youtube video almost two years ago. In the video, he had a talk about success entitled “Need to Succeed” (Click here to watch). His concept of success will change your view about what success really is. I never thought that I will be able to personally attend one of his talks, which I fortunately did last April 29.
We bought the tickets for “Developing Millionaire’s Mindset” on the day of the event. It comes with a free book, Chinkee’s For Richer For Poorer. He sat near the registration area and you can have him sign the book.
Since I was already able to hear him talk (from a video), I somewhat knew what to expect. As a speaker, he was very engaging and he clearly explains things. The flow of ideas was smooth. Even if he was sharing many stories and cracking jokes every now and then, he managed to convey his message in an organized manner. More importantly, he adds humor to his talk and you’ll never get bored. You will laugh while learning a lot. He also utilized visual aids that gave the audience a better understanding of the topic he’s discussing.
With all these positive expectations that I had, one thing made a difference, from watching him on a video and hearing him talk live. It’s about his contagious passion. A few distance from where he was standing, I felt much moved by what he was saying. It was an inspiration to personally come across him and absorb his overflowing enthusiasm. My friend, who was with me, was already able to read his book For Richer For Poorer. The book shared the same topic with Chinkee’s Developing Millionaire’s Mindset seminar. Guess what she told me? She was motivated by the book but having Chinkee explained things in person impacted her more.
